Objectives of the Placement Cell:

v To bring awareness among the Graduate and Post Graduate students on career planning

v To initiate and develop attitude and interest in one’s career

v To provide information for future opportunities

v To develop creative thinking and innovative attitude among the student community

v To make students self-reliant

v To provide information relating to career opportunities available to the out going students.

v To provide information relating to competitive examinations like A.P.P.S.C., S.S.C., Nationalized Banks, R.R.B. etc.,

v To provide the information relating to job opportunities available in public and private sectors, besides self employment programmes

v To maintain report with various employment agencies and help them to conduct campus interviews

v Information relating to opportunities for higher education

v To train up the students in soft skills

v To conduct interactive session with students in this week of August every year for final year U.G. students/ P.G. students and collect 10 copies of C.V. and the cell is to monitor the various job opportunities available. The placement officer is to send C.V’s collected from the students to necessary organizations

v The students will be informed of various job web sites (naukri.com and indiajobs.com) and encouragement should be given to post C.V. directly since both are free of cost

v Department of computer science and management studies should work in unison for the effective functioning of career guidance/placement services of the institution

v A computer with internet facility is available in the placement division

v Xerox facility available at a minimum cost

Dr.Ch.V.Subba Raju has been appointed as Placement Officer. He has been looking after placement activities both at U.G. and P.G. level in the college. Some of the students in Degree and P.G. courses are registered their names in J.K.C. programme. They are being trained in various tests and group discussions to face interviews which are conducted very often. Some are getting placements, others are looking for various job opportunities.
